At Miranda Hot Pools we had a lot of fun. First we ate our fish and chips. We also all got 2 hot dogs each and some yummy tomato sauce. Then, after that we went in the pool. I was scared to go in the water because I thought the water was cold. I jumped in and realized it was warm but it smelt like rotten eggs. Then we were called to eat ice blocks!
The ice blocks were nice and cool. But they also melted and dripped on me too! After having our delicious ice blocks we changed in the bathrooms and we went to the bus. We were very tired, so some of us decided to sleep. The best part about today is having ice blocks.
I am a Year 8 student at Red Hill School in Auckland, NZ. I am in the Kereru Hub Space and my teachers are Ms Kereopa and Matua Cloud.

Art Alley Zayden
This activity was about Art Alley.
I learnt how to carefully use paint without making a mess.
I created a drawing to display on my blog.
I found easy making my panel.
I found hard making the paint thicker so there is no white.
What I might try next time is to do long strokes.
I look forward to your feedback, so please write a comment on this post.

Modifying an image
I learnt how to use the poly line.
What i found hard is using the poly line tool as it kept disapearing when I clicked too close to it.
What I will do next is make the poly line cover all parts of what I want coloured.

He aha enei
Today I learnt how to say 'He aha enei?' in Te reo Maori.
I found it hard putting the books together in the corner because they are all one picture.
I enjoyed learning more Maori every Friday, thanking my teacher and princapal.

He aha tera?
This morning me and my class have been studying what 'He aha tera?' means in Maori.
I learnt that He aha tera means "What is that over there" and using the word karaka (clock) in my sentence.
What I enjoyed about today's activity is learning more stuff in Maori with my teacher and the principal.
I found hard finding what to put in my sentence given by my principal.
I look forward to your comments, please leave one I really appreciate it.
