2. My other reason is because its endangering native birds and we are invading their homes.

ReplyDeleteHey Zayden,
ReplyDeleteThanks for completing another SLJ activity!
You've provided two great reasons to back up why you think logging shouldn't be allow in New Zealand. You're right, tree's are vital in reducing the amount of Carbon dioxide in the air. The less trees we have, means the more Carbon dioxide in our air. Yes, deforestation hurts the many different species that live in our forests. You're right, logging causes us to invade their homes and often forces them to relocate. Do you know some of the reasons why we log forests? Awesome job Zayden!
In response to your comment above, I completely understand how busy it can get over the Christmas period. I too am feeling very busy! Take your time completing the activities. You can go at your own pace. I know after Christmas you will find yourself with more time to work through the activities.
I'm looking forward to reading more of your responses!
Merry Christmas, and have a Happy New Year.
Thanks,
Jordan
