My Beast The beast lives in a shell. But when it comes out, slimy tentacles emerge from the bottom, and a slippery body in the form of a arrow breaks out. He smells like he has lived in the sewers his whole life. He sounds like a roaring lion that is trapped in a cage.
Mōrena Zayden!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Summer Learning Journey 2018-2019 programme— I'm so pleased that you could join us as we delve in to matters of the environment both here in New Zealand, and across the rest of our world, too. You're the first student from Red Hill School to be blogging with us, so congratulations for that!
Thanks for sharing with us a wonderful description of your beast! He sounds scary, and also sounds as though he might smell quite a bit, too! What do you think his name is? I really like your use of adjectives, especially this one: "slimy tentacles emerge from the bottom"— great work, Zayden!
Do you know how to attribute images? — that means that we have to give credit to this image. We can give credit to an image by giving it a correct name (for example: Image of Octopus) and saying where it came from (for example: Google Images).
This is a huge work in progress, so don't worry— we can learn how to do this throughout the summer.
Thanks again for a wonderful description of your beast, and I look forward to reading much more from you!
Cheers
Jordan
