The Maori name of New Zealand Is Aotearoa which means the land of the long white cloud.

    I'm pleased you know the meaning of the Māori word for New Zealand— can you tell me the Māori name for the North Island? I appreciate your 3rd fact, too— we have quite a lot of marine life here in Aotearoa. Can you name any other marine life that we have here?
