W2 D2 A1 A long walk to Freedom

First day of Prison

What a day! I have to sleep on the most uncomfortable straw mat.

I have to dig up rocks and smash them into gravel.

And my disgusting dirty filthy room. Smells like no one deared to flush the toilet.

And I'll never forget the disgusting food I was given. I still taste it in my taste buds.

I feel as though there is a never-ending hallway with a door I will never reach. But I will keep trying to reach it.

And hopefully I will open that door to freedom someday.

  2. Hello Zayden,
I hope you are having an extraordinary day. It is half way through January! I really like this blog post because you added a very cool simile at the end of the writing piece. I also like how you made the diary entry on the first day. If I was in prison I would try to be good to get out. I feel what Nelson Mandela did was a great thing. Maybe next time you could add some back story to who is Nelson Mandela. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!
