Would I join a 20 hour or 40 hour famine to raise money for a charity?
Well, before I start sharing my thoughts and opinions on this post I would like you to meet Julian Dennison. He is seventeen years old and he has started in alot of of movies, TV commercials etc.
But he isn't just a funny actor, he has recently joined up with World Vision to be a 40 Hour Famine Ambassador. He traveled with World Vision to Uganda to meet some of the refugees from South Sudan who are living there.
Now, to tell you why I would join this group or act like Julian.
I would join because I would to see and meet other people seeing as I am always inside all day.
Next, I would join because there are many people, particularly kids, that have lost their lives or lost their family or they are starving. I would make a stand for lemonade seeing as we have no use for our lemon tree.
Last, I would join because I have a bunch of old toys that I don't use anymore I could sell it then get money and then give it to the charity.

Hello Zayden,
ReplyDeleteIt is me Vitaraag. I see you have put so much time and effort into this amazing blog post! I really like how you added some back story to the activity. I also really like how you added a picture of him, so we know what he looks like. For the 20-40 Hour Famine you have to give up something. What would you give up? I would either give up devices or food. Maybe next time you could add a small outro to your blog post! Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!

Hey Zayden,
ReplyDeleteAr Vitaraag beat me to commenting again. Nice one.
That's great to hear that you'd enthusiastically take part Zayden. Have you even done it before? It's not just about raising money but taking time to get a little experience about what some kids go through every day like having no food to eat, no shelter or no electricity, (sometimes all three).
Your extra info on Julian Dennison is really cool to. That's awesome of him to step up and use the fame he's gotten to support something really important. Great post Zayden, lots of detail and awesome attitude. You should definitely give it a go this year.
See you in the comments.
Daniel :)
